ST. JOHN VALLEY- The local St. John Valley Girl Scout Troops had an excess of cookies left over from their cookie drive this year and decided they would like to give them to a deserving group. They felt they would like to honor the Veterans of their area by donating them to be given out at the Fort Kent VA Outpatient Clinic.

The Girl Scout Troops participating are from all of the St. John Valley area.

Dawn Ouellette and Kennedy Ashby (local Girl Scouts in photo) recently brought 12 cases of Girl Scout cookies to the clinic and the VA staff have been giving each Veteran coming to the clinic, a box of Girl Scout cookies, compliments of the St. John Valley Girl Scouts.

Crystal Jandreau (Cookie Supervisor of the Emerald Service Unit) organized this project.
