RCMP arrest four after marijuana seizure

SAINT-JACQUES, N.B. – According to a press release, New Brunswick RCMP arrested four individuals following a marihuana seizure in Saint-Jacques on Wednesday.

On July 25, police officers from the RCMP's Federal Operations (West) Saint-Leonard detachment, the Grand Falls RCMP, the Edmundston Police Force and the North-West Integrated Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at a residence located on Albert Road in Saint-Jacques.

Police seized a quantity of marihuana and cash. They then arrested and subsequently released three men, between the ages of 20 and 40 years old, and one 25-year-old female. Their names are unavailable at this time. They will appear in Edmundston Provincial Court at a later date to face charges.
