NMG awards Employee of the Quarter to Elaine Vickery
EAGLE LAKE- Northern Maine General has announced Elaine Vickery as the Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2012.
Each quarter, the NMG community nominates an employee for outstanding service. The program recognizes the efforts of employees who have gone above and beyond their job duties and supported their divisions and peers throughout the quarter.
The Employee of the Quarter program measures characteristics that the selected individual must display in the following areas: attitude and inspiration; collaboration and positive cooperation; enthusiasm and support for NMG’s mission to provide individuals with the highest standards of care, promote dignity and respect, encourage talents and individuality, and help all of the people we serve enjoy life to the fullest potential; and the final criteria is quality.
For the fourth quarter, Elaine Vickery peers selected her to receive this honor. Vickery is a CNA at Mercy Home in Eagle Lake.
According to one peer, Vickery “was able to recall and respect each residents’ environmental preferences and maintain their choices with respect, accuracy, and careing.”
Another colleague stated that Vickery “has a great attitude. She has a lot of energy and energizes people around her. She works well with others and is able to get positive results.”
In honor of her achievements, the NMG Employee Relations Council awarded Vickery $100.
