Thibodeau, who opened his doors on Sept. 4, 2012 next door to Custom Cakes Café and across the street from Millers, said business has been “pretty good.” Most of his 150-200 customers have been private individuals, but he has also been doing work for about a dozen businesses.

The St. Francis native said he started fixing computers over 12 years ago for friends and family and hasn’t looked back since.

“I love computers, I’m obsessed with computers and have been for over ten years,” he said.

He said he’s confident when it comes to computer repair, which comes from the experience that he has in the field.

His business offers computer repairs, hardware upgrades, network troubleshooting, social media campaigning and web development services. Virus and spyware removal is his bread-and-butter, but he said he’s been fixing broken computer parts, such as laptop screens, as well.

“I’m a jack-of-all-trades,” he said.

The young entrepreneur’s passion is web development, however. Thibodeau said he’s created at least a dozen sites over the years.

“I always try to explain what it is I do for the customer,” he said.

He also offers monthly giveaways, which has included a tablet in the past. His current giveaway is a local business gift certificate.

Those who visit his Facebook page can enter to win one of his prizes there, or an interested customer can ask at the front desk.

Interested customers can check out his work at valleycomputer.me. Located at 34 West Main Street, the business is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
