FORT KENT– On Saturday, Nov. 15, the 10th Mountain Outdoor Club dedicated a new nature trail at the Fort Kent Outdoor Center, which the group named The Warrior Trail, to honor all those who have battled cancer.

ORONO / Fort Kent- Friday afternoon in Orono, Oct. 31, Fort Kent Senior Hailey Nadeau scored off a Danielle Pelletier throw-in with 44.9 seconds left in overtime to give No. 3 Fort Kent a 2-1 Eastern Maine Class C soccer semifinal win over No. 2 Orono.

BELFAST / Fort Kent -  On Saturday, Nov. 1, Matthew Toussaint held off George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill sophomore John Hassett to win the individual Boys Maine State Class C Cross Country State Championship, completing the 3.1-mile course at the Troy Howard Middle School in 16 minutes, 28.79 seconds.

FORT KENT / Orono- The Fort Kent Warrior boys lost their Class C Semifinal soccer home game to Orono, 4-3 (2OT); but the Warrior girls beat Orono 2-1 in their Class C semifinal match in Orono.

FORT KENTThe 10th Mountain Ski Center has had many faces over the years, but club board members now agree that the organization needs to charge into 2015 with a new name that honors the area and reflects the many uses for the center's unique lodge and 25 km of multi-use trails: The Fort Kent Outdoor Center.
