FORT KENT, Maine - With temperatures nearing 90 degrees, it was perhaps the perfect day for the Fort Kent town pool to open Saturday, June 25. The town pool's status remained in question until a few weeks before the official opening, as the Fort Kent Parks and Recreation Department sought qualified applicants to fill lifeguard positions.
