To the editor:

When a wheel loses a spoke, it runs out of true. That’s the analogy a friend used in describing the loss of beloved community member, Andrew Pelletier. Fittingly, we were riding our bikes at the time - part of our regular efforts to stay healthy - and as it turned out, also processing our grief via mind and body. In the face of challenges life throws our way, we strive to keep rolling forward mindfully, but also carefree.
