St. John Valley weather for June 26 – July 2, 2019

An upper-level low over the James Bay/Hudson Bay region in Canada will drop through New England this weekend into early next week. A weak frontal boundary will remain parked just west of the region in Québec over the next couple of days and provide a catalyst for shower and thunderstorm activity across the Valley. Surface low pressure moves through Maine Saturday and slowly drifts east in the Maritimes Sunday and Monday with an upper-trough axis running back west over the state Monday. High pressure builds into the region from the west bringing partly sunny skies with a chance for mainly afternoon showers Monday and Tuesday.
