Edmundston man wins UMCE’s Great Dictation of Acadia

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick — The Edmundston campus of the Université de Moncton (UMCE) held on 31 May at the official award ceremony of the winners of the 2nd Great Dictation of Acadia organized in March by the three campuses of the University of Moncton and the Université Sainte-Anne.

Gervais Theriault Edmundston, won the prize in the General Public category and won a $ 800 price. In junior for the University of Moncton, Ilias Rachidi, Edmundston, finished second, which earned him a prize of $ 200. The winners of other campus and the Université Sainte-Anne were highlighted locally.

The organizing committee of the Great Dictation like to thank the sponsors of the competition or the University of Moncton, the Université Sainte-Anne, the Association francophone teachers in New Brunswick (NBTA), the Government of New Brunswick, Quebec Office in the Atlantic provinces, the national Society of Acadia and the French Alliance.
