Madawaska selectmen will meet April 16

MADAWASKA, Maine — The Madawaska Board of Selectmen will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at the Madawaska Town Office Council Chambers.


Chairman Duperre will call the meeting to order and establish a quorum.

Article 1 Pledge of Allegiance.

Article 2 To consider Board of Selectmen Meeting Minutes of March 11, 19, and 31, 2019.

Article 3 To consider Treasurer Warrants.

Article 4 To Consider any other business and adjustments to the agenda.

Article 5 To consider a Liquor License renewal for Orchids, LLC.

Article 6 To consider the Resignations from Madawaska Public Library Director Roger Corbin, and Finance Committee Member Mark Cyr.

Article 7 To Consider the Appointment of Dana Gendreau, Town Finance Director to the Valley Recycling Facility Board of Directors.

Article 8 To Consider a Design/Build Engineering Proposal by Woodard & Curran for the Downtown Revitalization Project.

Article 9 To Consider a Renewal of the Master Service Agreement with the Project Engineer Firm, Woodard & Curran.

Article 10 To Consider the 2019-2020 Dispatch Service Contract with the Aroostook County Sheriff Department.

Article 11 To consider the 2019-2020 Fitness Center Rates, Business/Employee Wellness Rates Program.

Article 12 To consider an Amended Facility Use Policy and Review of Rates for the Madawaska Farmers Market.

Article 13 To consider the 2019-2020 Town of Madawaska, Madawaska School, and Water District (TSD) Heating Oil bids.

Article 14 To consider a Police Department Police Car Request / Acceptance of Bids.

Article 15 To consider a bid for a Dilapidated property at 478 Main Street, Map 3 Lot 30.

Article 16 To consider a Sewer Abatement Request for Account # 50295.

Article 17 To Discuss a Paving Project Cost Analysis for in Town and Out of Town Roads.

Article 18 To Consider the 1st Preliminary 2019-2020 Department Budget Figures of the Town of Capital / Reserves, Library, Insurances Budgets, and Revenue Budgets.

Article 19 To Consider the acquisition of real property, Executive Session Recommended; 1 M.R.S.A § 405(6)(C).
