Spaghetti fundraiser to benefit Green Bean Ski Club
FORT KENT, Maine — The Fort Kent Green Bean Ski Club will host its annual spaghetti fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 3. The club is comprised of Nordic and alpine skiers in grades 9-12. Last year’s meal raised nearly $5,000 for the club which helped to fund uniforms, jackets and athletic equipment.
Students and parent volunteers prepare the spaghetti dinner which includes salad and dessert. The cost of the meal is $8 per person and will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Fort Kent Community High School.
