St. John Valley weather for Jan. 2-8, 2019

High pressure will build across the region today with mostly clear and cold conditions today and tonight. A low-pressure system will pass along the southern edge of the Gulf of Maine Thursday, producing some light snow across the Valley. Steadier snow tapers to snow showers Thursday evening that continue overnight into Friday as a warm front moves through before ending Friday afternoon. High pressure builds in for Saturday, with another low-pressure system to the north bringing a cold front through with a chance for snow and snow showers Saturday night and Sunday. High pressure builds in for the start of next week.
