Edmundston offers five drop off locations to dispose of Christmas trees

In order to allow citizens to shed their natural Christmas trees faster and without having to travel long distances, the City of Edmundston will now offer five deposit sites in each area of ​​the municipality.

Thus, until January 14 at the latest, the fir trees can be taken to one of these five sites:

  • Public Works Department
  • Green Material Recovery Center on Titus Road
  • Arena (Saint-Basile sector)
  • Palladium (Saint-Jacques sector)
  • Mgr-Eymard-Desjardins Center (Verret sector)

Specific places to deposit the trees will be indicated at each site. Municipal employees will make the tour to make the shredding and thus give a new life to the fir trees by composting them.

If you are unable to transport your tree, you will now need to contact the Public Works Department at 739-2103 by Monday, January 14, to register for picking and to prevent your tree from being forgotten. by the roadside.
