Blizzard signs Jean-Maxime Bond

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard made another move by acquiring 18-year-old free agent player Jean-Maxime Bond.

This season, Bond wore the colors of L’Expert junior AA of Saint-Romuald, a team located in the Quebec city metro community. In 13 games, the 5’10’’ and 165 lbs center collected four goals and one assist. He was released from his team on December 1st. Last year, Bond was Junior Expert AA’s second-best scorer with 9 goals and 25 assists in 28 games.

Bond played for two seasons with the Collège Notre-Dame of Rivière-du-Loup in the Quebec Midget AAA Hockey League.

Bond will be in uniform for the Blizzard this weekend. Edmundston visits the Grand Falls Rapids on Friday (7:30 p.m.) and the St. Stephen Aces on Saturday (7 p.m.).
