Andrew Burden traded to Pictou in return for Cameron Scott

EDMUNDSTON, New Brunswick – The Edmundston Blizzard made a trade today sending forward Andrew Burden to the Pictou County Weeks Crushers and a sixth round pick in the 2020 midget draft in return for another forward, Cameron Scott.

The two players involved are both 5’11’’ and played on a regular basis with their team by taking part in all games of the season. In 20 games, Scott has 2 goals, 3 assists and 8 penalty minutes. With the same number of games, Burden collected 1 goal and 1 assist in addition to 31 minutes in the penalty box.

Originally from Porters Lake, near Halifax, Scott shoots right and is a 19 year-old player (1999), while Burden, born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, shoots from the left and is 18 years old (2000).

Cameron Scott will be in uniform Saturday at 7:30 pm when the Blizzard will host the Truro Bearcats at the Jean-Daigle Centre in Edmundston.
