Rella J. Daigle

FORT KENT, Maine — Rella J. Daigle, 99, passed away on November 12, 2018, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in Daigle on June 13, 1919, daughter of the late Lezime and Laura (LaChance) Pelletier.

Rella worked for Gerber -formally known as Princess Kent, for 22 years, and will always be remembered for being a good supervisor who could take control of any situation. Rella and her husband, Sylvio, wintered in Florida, and spent their summers at their camp in Cross Lake.

She is survived by her three daughters, Lou Mae Albert, and her husband, J. Lee of Connecticut, Myrna Voisine and her husband, Reynold, of Fort Kent, and Beatrice Daigle and her husband, Ronald, of Fort Kent; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Sylvio Daigle; her daughter, Janice Daigle; six brothers; and one sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on November 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. Family and friends may call at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home from 9 a.m. -10:45 a.m., the morning before the service.
