Madawaska Historical Museum gathering

Over 30 people gathered at the Madawaska Historical Museum in Edmundston on Thursday, Nov. 1, to attend the launch of the latest issue of the Journal of the Madawaska Historical Society. The picture shows, from left to right, Helen Martin, president of the Madawaska Historical Society; Jacques G. Albert, editor of the magazine; Mathieu Martin, author of a text on religious practices in Madawaska during the 1960s; Nicole Lang, history professor and head of the Human Sciences at the University of Moncton, Edmundston Campus (UMCE); and Matthew Lemieux, author of a text on the amalgamation in Madawaska there 20 years. The event was organized by the Human Sciences UMCE in collaboration with the Madawaska Historical Society.
