Violette M. Picard (1940-2018)

FRENCHVILLE, Maine – Violette M. Picard, 78, passed away on October 2, 2018, at a Frenchville health care facility. She was born on January 21, 1940, daughter of the late Cezaire Doucet Byram and Andrew Byram.
She is survived by two sons, Gerry Picard and his wife, Susan, of New Hampshire, Robert Picard and his partner, Rachel Southworth, of St. Agatha; three grandchildren, Felicia, Andrea, and Alissa; three great-grandchildren, Graham, Jameson and Ronin; three siblings, Normand (Ruth) Doucet, Donald Byram, and Kathleen Pelletier, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Picard; brother, Norbert, and other family members.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at the St. Thomas Church in Madawaska. Family and friends may call at the church from 9-9:45 a.m. the morning before the service. Interment will be held at the VA Cemetery in Caribou, at the convenience of the family.
