Herbey Blier (1927—2018)

AGAWAM, Mass. — Herbey Blier, 91, of Agawam, MA, passed away peacefully Monday, July 16, 2018.  Born April 27, 1927, in Fort Kent, Maine, he was a son to the late William and Ernestine (Charette) Blier.

He served his country proudly with the U.S. Army during WWII.  He owned and operated Herb’s Truck Sales, among other related businesses throughout his life. 

He is survived by his loving daughter, Marline A. Claremont and her husband, Robert, of Feeding Hills; 2 grandchildren; her brother, Alvey Blier and his wife, Linda, of Enfield, CT; and sisters, Emelia Pelletier of Attalla, AL, Irma Randall and Rose Berube and her husband, Ronald, all of West Springfield.  He is also survived by his former wife, Dolores (Morace) Blier of West Springfield; former son-in-law, Wayne Charette Sr. of Agawam; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
