Marie Wilcox (1949—2018)

ST. AGATHA, Maine — Marie Wilcox, 68, passed away unexpectedly in her home on July 2, 2018. She was born on August 23, 1949, the daughter of the late Wellena Deschamps-Voisine and Arthur Deschamps. Marie loved the creation of what the Lord had given her. She prayed every day for forgiveness, and was very faithful in her beliefs. She appreciated the beauty of her home on the lake, from sunrise to sunset. She will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her father and mother; her sisters, Linda, Shirley, and a baby girl; her brothers, Richard, Roger, Nelson, and a baby boy; and her husband, Clifford. She is survived by a son, David; a daughter, Michelle; John and Clifford, Jr.; Victor, and other grandchildren; her sisters, Nora, Fla., Pauline, Theresa, Bernadette, Fla.; brothers Lewellyn, SC, Maurice, and Ronald, Conn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom she was very close to who loved her and will miss her dearly.

A Catholic service of remembrance was held at Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha on July 11, 2018, under the direction of the Rev. Phil Cyr. As Marie would say, “It is what it is.” The family would like to extend their thanks to Carl Michaud, owner of Michaud Funeral Home, for his generosity.
