Louise Dionne (1970—2018)

FORT KENT, Maine — Louise Dionne, 48, passed away on May 9, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with appendiceal cancer.

She was born in Fort Kent on January 15, 1970, the daughter of Raoul and Martha (Nadeau) Tardif.

Louise loved cooking, baking, and especially spending time with her family and parents.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Rodney Dionne, and her son, Nathan; and her two, stepdaughters, Tica and Tania Dionne, all of Fort Kent; six grandchildren, and five siblings, Sylvia Tardif and her friend, Gilles Fournier, and Leonard and his wife, Cindy Tardif, all of Fort Kent, Sharon and her husband, Paul Harvey, of Richmond, ME, Elaine and her husband, Darold Bossie, and Daniel and his wife, Monica Tardif, all of Fort Kent; as well as many special nieces and nephews, and several brothers and sisters-in-law. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one infant sister, one toddler sister, and by her brother-in-law, John Daigle, in 1988.

Friends called on Sunday, May 13, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, May 14, 2018, at 9 a.m. until time of service at the Daigle -Lajoie Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services followed in the parish cemetery.
