St. John Valley weather for May 16-22

Daily Weather Summary

High pressure will bring partly cloudy skies Wednesday morning followed by increasing clouds in the afternoon as a cold front approaches from the west. Skies will be mostly cloudy Wednesday night with showers through the overnight period. Showers taper off Thursday morning with skies becoming partly cloudy as high pressure builds in. Mostly clear skies are expected Thursday night Friday and Friday night.

Partly cloudy skies Saturday become mostly cloudy Saturday night with rain expected after midnight as a cold front approaches from the northwest. Showers linger Sunday under mostly cloudy skies. Skies become partly cloudy Monday and Tuesday as high pressure builds into the region.

Wednesday, May 16: High: 59. Low: 39. Day: Partly cloudy in the morning then mostly cloudy in the afternoon with a 30 percent chance for showers with around one-hundredth of an inch possible. South/southeast winds 0 to 5 mph. Night: Mostly cloudy to overcast with a 50 percent chance for showers. Between one-tenth and one-quarter inch total precipitation expected overnight. South/southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday, May 17: High: 58. Low: 32. Day: Partly cloudy in the morning then mostly clear in the afternoon. Chance for rain 20%, mainly in the morning. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Night: Mostly clear and cold. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Friday, May 18: High: 60. Low: 36. Day: Mostly clear. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Night: Mostly clear. Southeast winds 0 to 5 mph.

Saturday, May 19: High: 70. Low: 45. Day: Partly cloudy with south winds 10 to 15 mph. Night: Increasing clouds with a 50 percent chance for rain. South/southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday, May 20: High: 66. Low: 43. Day: Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance for showers. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Night: Partial clearing overnight with a 30 percent chance for showers. West/northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
