Saint-François-de-Madawaska man gets two years for trafficking methamphetamine
An Edmundston Provincial Court judge on Wednesday sentenced a 31-year-old Saint-François-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick, man to serve more than two years in federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine.
Ken Bolduc was sentenced on May 9 to two years plus a day and was fined $7,100. He also was barred for life from possessing a firearm and must submit a DNA sample to court.
He pleaded guilty in March to three counts of trafficking methamphetamine.
Officers arrested Bolduc in August 2016 following an eight-month investigation into drug trafficking by the RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime Section in Saint-Léonard with assistance from the West District RCMP and Edmundston Police Force.
