Madawaska selectmen to meet May 14

MADAWASKA — The Madawaska Board of Selectmen will meet Monday, May 14, at 4:30 p.m. in the town office council chambers.

The agenda follows.

Chairman Thibeault will call the meeting to order and establish a quorum.

Article 1 To consider the meeting minutes of April 24, 2018.

Article 2 To consider a period of public participation.

Article 3 To consider other business and adjustments to the agenda.

Article 4 To consider the Treasurers Warrants.

Article 5 To Consider updates on the Grand Plan Madawaska Strategic Plan.

Article 6 To Consider the status of a Sewer Tax Acquired property, account # 10345 at 247 Main Street.

Article 7 To Consider the status of a Tax & Sewer Acquired property, acct. # 2349 at 507 Main Street.

Article 8 To Consider a Quit Claim Deed for Real Estate Account #572.

Article 9 To Consider a request by the Madawaska ATV Club for permission to create an ATV Access trail along Aspen & Gagnon Roads.

Article 10 To consider the nomination of the Town Manager to the Maine Municipal Association Legislative Policy Committee.

Article 11 To Consider a request by Montcalm Gagnon for the Town to increase the culvert

capacity on Factory Brook near his property at 15 Dufour Road.

Article 12 To Consider the proposed location of the new bathroom facilities at the Madawaska Bi- Centennial Park.

Article 13 To consider the Monthly Manager’s Report.

Article 14 To Consider a Sewer Abatement request for Account # 13.

Article 15 To Consider a property tax abatement for real estate account # 630, executive session recommended: 1 M.R.S.A § 405(6)(F).

Article 16 To consider the renewal of the Town Manager employment contract, executive session recommended pursuant to: “1 M.R.S.A. § 405(6)(A)”.
