St. John Valley weather for May 2-8
High pressure moves into the Atlantic Wednesday with a cold front approaching from the northwest that will produce a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms across the Valley Wednesday afternoon. Showers continue overnight as a low zips across northern Maine. Rain showers linger Thursday as the cold front moves across the state over the course of the day. Another fast-moving area of low-pressure moves across the region with rain Friday night into Saturday morning. Showers linger Saturday as a ridge of high-pressure builds into the Valley with partly cloudy skies Sunday and partly sunny skies Monday with a chance for showers as a low moves by to the north. A ridge of high pressure near the Great Lakes moves in with mostly sunny/partly cloudy skies Tuesday.
