Richard Duplissis (1931-2018)

FRENCHVILLE, Maine — Richard Duplissis, 87, died peacefully on April 1, 2018, at a Fort Kent Hospital. He was born in Cyr Plantation on March 24, 1931, the son of Benjamin and Agnes ‘Labreque’ Duplissis.

He served with the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Richard retired as a Supervisor for a Substations Dept. for Central Maine Power Company. He is survived by his wife, Rinette, of Frenchville; two sons, Ronald and his wife, Suzanne, of Auburn, ME, and Stephen and his wife, Debra, of Leeds, and one daughter, Cynthia  Jalbert and her partner, Andrew Paradis, of Auburn, ME; six grandchildren, Ross, Renee, Michelle, Benjamin, Ethan, and Ian; and three great-grandchildren, Ella, Nicholas, and Simon. He was predeceased by his first wife, Constance Jalbert Duplissis, and five brothers, Clifford, Albert, Lawrence, Napoleon, and Oneil, and three sisters, Beatrice, Irene, and Alma.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the St. David Church. Friends and relatives may give their condolences to the family from 9:15 to 10:00 a.m. at the St. David Church. Condolences may be sent to
