St. John Valley

St. John Valley weather for March 7-13

Low pressure will develop off the mid-Atlantic coast early Wednesday and move into the Gulf of Maine Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The low will move along the Maine coast with snow overspreading the entire state Thursday. Significant accumulations are possible with northern Aroostook receiving up to a foot of snow with locally higher amounts. The low spins northwestward Friday with snow expected to decrease in intensity through the day. A weaker secondary low may form over the Maritimes Saturday and circulate moisture across the Valley Saturday into Sunday, producing snow showers across the region. Yet another low-pressure system moves into the Gulf and brings a chance for snow later Monday into Tuesday.
