Andrew ‘Andy’ Daigle (1962—2018)

Andrew ‘Andy’ Daigle, 55, passed away on February 8, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Madawaska on April 13, 1962, a son of Emile Daigle and Norma (Michaud) Best.

In 1989 Andy began his career as an insurance agent, serving his community faithfully for 27 years and earned respect from his colleagues achieving the title of Senior Agent. He was an avid outdoors man and loved working on his land. Andy was known to be a “patanteur” and loved anything with a motor. Andy cherished his family and especially enjoyed being a Pepere.

Andy is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Diane (Lagasse) Daigle of Madawaska; two daughters, Crystal Daigle and her partner, Jayme Brogden, of Atlanta, Georgia, Kylie Wright and her husband, Peter, of Miami, Florida; two grandsons, Blake Brogden and Landen Wright; his mother, Norma Best, of St. Peterburg, Florida; two siblings, Michael Daigle and his wife, Marcia, of Indiana, and Barbara Page and her husband, Brett, of Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Emile Daigle.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at the St. David Church. Family and friends called at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska on Monday, February 12, 2018, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. and from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. on the morning of the service.
