PAWS Pet of the Week — Deedra

PAWS Animal Welfare Shelter presents Deedra as the Pet of the Week. Deedra is a special cat for a special home. She is a young, black cat from a colony in Grand Isle. Because she is still getting used to people, she likes to hide in her kennel. She needs a patient, cat-experienced family to give her time and space to acclimate herself to her new indoor surroundings. Deedra loves other cats so she will make a good playmate for other felines in her home as well as a good companion to her owners — eventually. But first she needs unconditional love, a warm place to snuggle up and plenty of treats from her new human. Will you be the special someone who convinces Deedra that humans are awesome? She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and cleared of any parasites. To see her, visit Valley Cat Haven during open hours Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or call Jean at 543-7348 for an appointment.
