Madawaska Selectmen to meet Jan. 16

MADAWASKA, Maine — The Madawaska Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. at the Madawaska Town Office Council Chambers.

The agenda is as follows.

Chairman Thibeault will call the meeting to order and establish a quorum.

Article 1: To consider the meeting minutes of December 12, 2017 and January 2, 2018.

Article 2: To consider a period of public participation.

Article 3: To consider other business and adjustments to the agenda.

Article 4: To consider the Treasurer’s Warrants.

Article 5: To Consider setting a public hearing date for the proposed Town Male Fowl Ordinance.

and the amended Town of Madawaska Sex Offender Ordinance.

Article 6: To Consider a property tax abatement for account 1186, Map 11 Lot 32Q.

Article 7: To Consider a property tax abatement for account 1194, Map 11 Lot 62.

Article 8: To Consider a property tax abatement for account 340, Map 37 Lot 10.

Article 9: To Consider the Adoption of the Grand Plan Madawaska Strategic Plan and appointment

of committee members.

Article 10: To consider access to MMA Legal Services to Town of Madawaska; Town Manager,

Finance and Human Resource Director, and Board of Selectmen Chair.

Article 11: To Consider a Board appointment to the Finance Committee.

Article 12: To consider the appointment of the Town Manager and one Board Member as Alternate

as Voting Delegates to the Maine Service Centers Coalition.

Article 13: To consider the Monthly Manager’s Report.
