Harold M. Pelletier (1945—2017)

MADAWASKA, Maine — Harold M. Pelletier, 72, formally of Southington, CT, passed away at his home in Madawaska on December 26, 2017. He was born in Madawaska on November 30, 1945, son of the late Arthur and Blanche (Levesque) Pelletier.

He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus of Madawaska. He worked for the IUOE, Sideco, and Pelletier and Son Construction in Connecticut. He loved spending time at his home on Long Lake, going to his land on the hill, and riding ATV. He was a very kind, honest and loving man who truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Cheryl (McClendon) Pelletier of Madawaska; two daughters, Cindy Capirchio of Avon, CT, and Deana Pelletier of Mesa, AZ; one step-son, Shane Moore and his wife, Karen, of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren, Joseph Pelletier, Zachary Barulli, Christopher Pelletier, Cameron Moore; three sisters, Theresa Gervais and her husband, Alcide, of St. David, Mildred Ouellette and her husband, Richard, of Caribou, Madeleine Sanborn and her husband, Ed, of Madawaska; three brothers, Donald Pelletier of Madawaska, James Pelletier and his wife, Lisa, of Southington, CT, Ronald Pelletier of Grand Isle; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Ricky Pelletier.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends called at Lajoie Funeral Home, Madawaska, from 6-8 p.m. on Monday and from 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday before the service.
