St. John Valley weather for Dec. 27-Jan. 2

High pressure will bring partly cloudy skies and bitterly cold air to the region Wednesday through Friday. Gusty winds as the high builds in behind the departing low that brought Monday’s snow will make it feel even colder. An upper disturbance brings a slight chance for snow Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon along with increased cloudiness. Partly cloudy skies return later Thursday with winds subsiding Friday. An offshore low brings a chance for snow later Saturday into Sunday with a chance for snow showers lingering into Monday. Partly cloudy skies continue early next week as another high pressure ridge builds in with more bitterly cold air.
