St. John Valley weather for Dec. 13-19
Low pressure tracking through Maine Wednesday will bring the first major snowfall of the winter season to northern Maine with totals in the 8- to 12-inch range east to west across the area. Gusty west winds will usher in very cold air, with highs in the teens and lows near zero through the weekend. Another low-pressure system brings a chance for snow Sunday into Monday with a cold air mass continuing to keep temperatures down across the Valley. A frontal boundary near the area brings a chance for snow showers Tuesday.
