Sen. Troy Jackson of Allagash receives statewide award from Pines Health CEO in Caribou

CARIBOU, Maine — Jim Davis, left, CEO of Pines Health Services, presents state Sen. Troy Jackson, D-Allagash, with the Maine Primary Care Association Legislative Award on Monday, Nov. 20, at the Pines Caribou Health Center. Jackson was commended for recognizing the challenges that community health centers face in rural and medically underserved regions in Maine. In accepting the award, Jackson said he is a firm believer that “all Mainers need access to health care, no matter where they live.”
