Acadia Federal Credit Union donates to hurricane victims

Concerned staffers at Acadia FCU were quick to offer assistance in the wake of devastation in Texas and Florida caused by Hurricane Irma and Tropical Storm Harvey.

Together, with a ‘two-for-one’contribution from Acadia, they collected $1,050 to help hurricane victims. “Pierrette Boucher, one of Acadia’s head tellers, approached me, because several staffers had expressed interest in pooling funds to send to the victims,” said Alison Voisine, marketing manager for Acadia FCU. Employees from the credit union’s five branches collected $350, with Acadia kicking in $700.
