Weather for Oct. 18-25

High pressure will bring mostly sunny skies to the Valley Wednesday and Wednesday night. A warm front crosses the region early Thursday with a cold front moving through Thursday evening producing increased cloudiness and a chance for a few showers. Skies become partly cloudy Friday afternoon with mostly clear skies across the Valley Friday night and Saturday. A warm front brings increased clouds Sunday into Monday. A cold front trailing from a low in Canada moves east bringing increasing clouds Monday evening and a chance for showers Tuesday.

Wednesday, October 18: High: mid-50s. Low:  low 40s. Day: Mostly clear and mild with west/northwest winds 5-10 mph. Night: Mostly clear and cool with southwest winds 0-5 mph.

Thursday, October 19: High: mid-60s. Low: upper 30s. Day: Partly cloudy early with increasing clouds in the afternoon/evening and a slight chance for showers. Southwest winds 10-15 mph with gusts to 30 mph possible. Night: Partly/mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance for showers. West winds 5-10 mph.

Friday, October 20: High: mid-50s. Low: mid-30s. Day: Partly/mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly clear by evening. Northwest winds 10-15 mph. Night: Mostly clear and cold with northwest winds 5-10 mph.

Saturday, October 21: High: mid-50s. Low: mid-30s. Day: Mostly clear with west/northwest winds 5-10 mph. Night: Mostly clear then becoming partly cloudy with southwest winds 0-5 mph.

Sunday, October 22: High: low 60s. Low: low 40s. Day: Partly cloudy with southwest winds 5-10 mph. Night: Partly cloudy/mostly clear with southwest winds 0-5 mph.

Monday, October 23: High: mid-60s. Low: low 50s. Day: Partly cloudy in the morning then increasing clouds in the afternoon. Southwest winds 5-10 mph. Chance for precipitation 20 percent. Night: Becoming mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance for precipitation. South winds 5-10 mph.

Tuesday, October 24: High: mid-60s. Low: low 50s. Day: Cloudy with a 50 percent chance for periods of light rain and showers. South winds 5-10 mph. Precipitation total between one-tenth and one-quarter inch. Night: Cloudy with a 50 percent chance for showers. Southeast winds 5-10 mph. Rainfall totals between one-tenth and one-quarter inch possible.
