Robertine ‘Bobby’ (Caron) Charette (1939—2017)

FORT KENT, Maine — Robertine ‘Bobby’ (Caron) Charette, 78, passed away peacefully with family by her side, Monday, September 25, 2017 at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility.

She was born in Fort Kent January 17, 1939 the daughter of Aurele and Sadie (Michaud) Caron.

Bobby worked as a store clerk for several years at Reny’s and in the cafeteria at the Elementary School both in Fort Kent.

Bobby was very proud of being on the committee organizing her class reunions of which she attended her 60th this year. She enjoyed doing puzzles, traveling on motorcycle with her beloved husband, Danferd Charette. Bobby took a lot of pride in her family, putting them first in her life and always be available to help whenever in need. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her five children; Mae Ann and husband Ray Pelletier of Madawaska, Daniel and wife Julie Charette of San Juan, TX, Cynthia “Cindy” and husband Leonard Tardif of Fort Kent, Steven Charette and companion Debbie Cyr of Fort Kent and St. David, Lisa and husband Dale Dionne of Madawaska. Two sisters; Patsy Bouchard of Fort Kent, Pauline and husband Gary Dumond of Eagle Lake. 16 grandchildren; Andrea and husband Jeff, Joshua and wife Heather, Michelle and husband Nick, Jonathon and wife Ashley, Kenneth, Stephanie, Linda, Lorie, Toby and wife Bobbie, Robby and wife Jaime, Stephanie and boyfriend Kile, Audrey, Sonny and wife Maureen, Kelly and husband Jeremy, Jeremy and girlfriend Sara, Jessica, Jennifer and fiancé Curtis. 23 great-grandchildren, and several brothers and sister-in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Danferd Charette in 2004, one sister, Betty (Martin) Bouchard.

Friends may call Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9 to 10:45 a.m. at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will follow in the parish cemetery.
