St. John Valley weather for Sept. 20-26

A ridge of high pressure over the eastern U.S. will dominate the Valley’s weather through much of the week. A cold front will push through the region early Wednesday with Canadian high pressure building in behind with a cooler, drier air mass. The high-pressure center slides towards the Maritimes by the weekend continuing to bring mostly clear skies to the region. Clouds increase later Saturday as a cold front north of the Valley slowly moves towards the region. The cold front crosses the region Monday into Tuesday with considerable cloudiness and a chance for a few scattered showers.
