RCMP seeks tips on break-ins
SAINT-LEONARD, New Brunswick — The West District RCMP, Saint-Leonard detachment, is asking the public’s help in investigating two separate incidents of break, enter and theft in northwestern New Brunswick.
According to Cpl. Marcel Jaillet of the detachment, during the early morning hours of Sept. 7, 2017, an unidentified individual broke into Hansen’s Meat Shop on Route 108 in New Denmark and took a large quantity of tobacco products.
Around the same time, an individual broke into the North West Yamaha dealership on Despres Road in Saint-Andre, making off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Jaillet said via a press release that police do not believe the incidents are related. Both are still under investigation.
