Pioneers roll over Bears in girls’ Class D North soccer action

ST. AGATHA, Maine — The Pioneer girls improved to a 5-2 record after notching a shutout victory against the visiting Easton Bears on Tuesday, Sept. 5. 

Playing on their new field, Wisdom players found the back of the Eastion net often on their way to the 6-0 win. Breanna Lavoie had a hat-trick and teammate Bailey Bellefleur knocked in two of her own.

Kaitlyn Chasse had one goal and one assist. Sydney Dumond had two assists and teammate Isabelle Gervais had one of her own.

The Pioneers, who were in second place in the Class D North standings following the win, are next scheduled to travel on Thursday to Limestone to take on the Maine School of Science and Math.
