Tigers boys roar back against Pioneers

ST. AGATHA, Maine — The Tigers (4-2) scored six unanswered goals after falling behind 1-0 and beat the Pioneers (3-3) in St. Agatha Friday. Dylan Weyeneth put the Pioneers on the board late in the first half before Isaac Cyr tied it on a Lorenzo Viano assist and Chris Gill made it 2-1 before intermission. Alex Sprague provided two second-half goals and Dawson Watson and Chase Griffeth scored one each to account for the final score.

The Tigers have now won three in a row after a 1-2 start.

“Now that everyone is available to play, we are starting to figure out individual roles and develop depth in many positions,” said Fort Fairfield coach John Ala. “ I’m pleased with the versatility of many of our players which allows us the adjust our lineup game to game.”
