Pioneer girls blank visiting Tigers

ST. AGATHA, Maine — The Wisdom Middle/High School girls improved to 4-2 following a shutout win against visiting Fort Fairfield, Friday. The Pioneers were in second place in the Class D North standings, after the 2-0 win, behind the undefeated Ashland Hornets.

Bailey Bellefleur scored the opening goal for Wisdom in the first half and teammate Dorothy Harris punched in the insurance goal in the second half.

Wisdom was scheduled to take on 1-4 Easton on Tuesday, in another home game.
