SJV Weather for Aug. 30-Sept. 5
High pressure will move east of the region Wednesday with partly cloudy skies remaining across the Valley into the overnight hours. Clouds increase Thursday as a frontal system approaches the region from the northwest. Mostly cloudy to overcast skies with occasional rain showers occur Thursday and Friday. Cool air aloft will keep daytime highs on the chilly side with Fort Kent and surrounding areas only reaching the lower 50s Friday.
High pressure brings clearing skies Saturday with decent weather on tap through Sunday with daytime temperatures rebounding into the 60s. A low-pressure system in Canada pulls a cold front towards the region Monday with mostly cloudy skies and a chance for rain Monday into Tuesday morning with clearing skies expected Tuesday evening.
