Northern Maine General honors St. Onge

EAGLE LAKE, Maine — Northern Maine General has announced Jessica St. Onge as the Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2017. St. Onge is a certified nurse’s assistant (CNA) for NMG’s Mercy Home. In honor of her achievements, she was awarded $100 by the NMG Employee Relations Council.

Each quarter, an employee is nominated by his or her peers for outstanding service. The program recognizes the efforts of employees who have gone above and beyond their job duties and supported their divisions and peers throughout the quarter.  

According to one peer, “Jessica is dedicated to the residents and truly cares about their well-being. She is understanding, empathetic, cooperative, thoughtful and always smiling. The care that she provides is genuine and she’s willing to do whatever it takes to make the residents smile.”

Another colleague stated that St. Onge is, “attentive to the residents’ needs, not just because it’s her job. She provides each resident individualized care and attention.” 

The Employee of the Quarter program selects an employee each quarter that displays the following characteristics: attitude and inspiration; collaboration and positive cooperation; enthusiasm and support for NMG’s mission to provide individuals with the highest standards of care, promoting dignity and respect, encouraging talents and individuality, helping residents enjoy life to the fullest.
