PAWS Animal Welfare Shelter Pet of the week (week of August 16, 2017)

PAWS Animal Welfare Shelter presents Lester as the Pet of the Week. Lester was found homeless last fall, fortunately by someone who is kind. His temporary home outside provided him with regular meals and a place to take refuge with the resident cats. He was trapped recently and brought to PAWS. Since then he has transitioned from a gentle but frightened cat to one who loves attention and being petted. Lester is now neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He is an orange tabby and estimated to be 2 years old. Orange tabby male cats are known for being affectionate and Lester is no exception. All he needs is to be in a loving and permanent home. To see him, visit Valley Cat Haven during open hours on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or call Jean at 207-543-7348 for an appointment. (Contributed photo)
