Theriault lauded for more than a decade of service to the Fort Kent Seniors Club

FORT KENT, Maine — Bill Loder (left), president of the St. John Valley Senior College and Reggie Deschaine (right), president of the Fort Kent Senior Club, present Fort Kent resident Lucien Theriault with a certificate of appreciation during a July 28 meeting of the Fort Kent Seniors Club.

Theriault was a charter member of the St. John Valley Senior College and has remained active in it or more than 10 years, providing leadership and generating ideas for activities and programming. He is equally active in the Fort Kent Senior Club. Senior College is a partnership program between Maine School Administrative District 27 Adult and Continuing Education, the University of Maine at Fort Kent, and the Fort Kent Senior Club. The senior college is open to adults 50 years of age and older and provides a wide range of learning activities including classes, workshops, and area tours.
