Carlene Albert

GRAND ISLE, Maine – Carlene Albert, 80, passed away on May 15, 2017, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born in Lille on September 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Dennis and Sophie (Devost) Ouellette.

Carlene was a loving mother and wife and will dearly be missed. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the American Legion Auxiliary. Carlene was a very social being and enjoyed planning and organizing religious bus tours to Canada for hundreds of people.
She is survived by two children, Kenneth Albert and his wife Elaine of Oceanside, CA, and Judith Albert and her husband Willie Parent of St. Anne, NB, Canada; a sister, Leola Michaud of Madawaska; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Carlene was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Patrick Albert, a son Dennis Albert, and two siblings, Roland Ouellette and Althea Cyr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at St. Gerard-Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Grand Isle. Relatives and friends may greet the family Saturday morning 9 – 9:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
