SJV Weather for Wednesday, Aug. 2 to Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017

High pressure will bring mostly clear to partly cloudy skies to the Valley Wednesday. A slow-moving cold front will approach from the west and stall out just west of the SJV through the end of the week creating a chance for showers and thunderstorms, especially Thursday afternoon. A chance of showers and afternoon thunderstorms persists through Saturday, when the cold front is expected to move through the region. Skies begin to clear as a new ridge of high pressure builds in Sunday with partly cloudy skies expected on Monday. A low pressure system brings clouds and a chance for showers Tuesday.
