Doggone Beautiful Grooming tests pet oxygen masks

Sandra Deprey of Doggone Beautiful Grooming and Frenchville Fire Chief Peter Parent demonstrate a pet oxygen mask on a furry friend at the fire station, Monday, July 10. The device, which has different size masks for large or small dogs or cats, attaches to an air tank or other oxygen supply. Firefighters often rescue family pets or find them injured at a fire scene, with smoke inhalation a common occurrence. Deprey donated the animal rescue package to the local fire department. Her shop is located on Pelletier Avenue in Frenchville.
