Joanne (Charette) Landry (1947—2017)

MADAWASKA, Maine — Joanne (Charette) Landry, 70, passed away surrounded by her family at EMMC on Saturday, July 1, 2017.

She was born in Edmundston, NB, Canada on February 16, 1947, daughter of the late Herve and Marie Anne Charette.

Joanne was a school teacher for over 30 years in Edmundston where she was able to show her nurturing and compassionate side.

She loved and adored spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Lucien Landry; two children, Glenn and wife, Cindy; Lisa and husband, Elden; four grandchildren, Halie, Kameron, Alissa and Lucas.

She is also survived by seven brothers and sisters; Roland Charette and his wife, Raymonde from Moncton, NB; Robert Charette and his wife, Micheline from Montreal Nord; Murielle Deruelle from London, Ontario; Georges Charette from Laval Quebec; Andre Charette from Piedmont, Quebec; Rachel Halverson and husband, Percy from Pequot Lakes, MN; Francine Pelletier and her partner, John Daigle from Madawaska.

She is predeceased by one sister Patricia Boucher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 14th, 2017 at 10am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Madawaska. Calling for family and friends at 9am at the Church as well.
