Gilman H. Hebert (1945—2017)

LEWISTON and FORT KENT, Maine — Gilman H. Hebert, 72, passed away July 7, 2017, at a Lewiston hospital. He was born in Fort Kent, March 9, 1945, the son of Hilaire and Aline (Madore) Hebert.

He served in the Army National Guard from 1965 to 1971.

He is survived by 11 brothers and 5 sisters, Gladys and husband, Clarence Charette of Fort Kent, Mary Ann and husband, Sam Michaud of Lewiston, Raymond and wife, Joan Hebert of Sinclair, Guilford Hebert of Grand Falls, Robert and wife, Marie Hebert of Greene, Robert and wife, Melanie Hebert of Leeds, Edmond and wife, Mary Hebert of Auburn, Ceciliea and husband, Rick Levasseur of Lewiston, Louise and husband, Roland Fortin of Lewiston, Maurice and wife, Terry Hebert of Canton, Danford and wife, Kris Hebert of Poland, Joel Hebert of Madawaska, Phillip Hebert of Lewiston, Gilbert and wife, Joline Hebert of Lewiston, and Joella and husband, Dan Michaud of Brewer.

In addition to both parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Clifford Hebert.

Friends may call 8:30 to 10:00 am Thursday, July 13, 2017, at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 am Thursday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will follow with full Military Honors in the parish cemetery.
